Call for Artists with Emma Evans Art Gallery

Art Show launching on 23rd September

We are excited to announce that we are seeking incredible local artists to be part of the Emma Evans Gallery to be part of an ART SHOW launching on the 23rd September – 20th October.

Monton has a warm welcoming community vibes the artwork submitted is to focus on themes of locality and community.

Selected works will be exhibited as part of an Art show launching on September 23rd 2024 and will be on display until October 20th 2024.

About Emma Evans Art Gallery

Located in the heart of Monton, Salford, our independent art gallery offers a welcoming and vibrant space for art enthusiasts. Specialising in original works, the gallery is more than just a venue—it’s a place where art meets community.

Monton itself is a picturesque area, with the Worsley Loop Line woodland and the Bridgewater Canal just a minute’s walk from the gallery. The neighbourhood boasts a friendly, close-knit community vibe, making it the perfect setting for our gallery.

Founded by local artist Emma Evans, the gallery provides a unique experience where you can enjoy art in a relaxed and social atmosphere. Before entering the gallery, you’ll pass through Wandering Palate, a charming wine store. Feel free to bring a glass of wine upstairs as you explore our ever-changing collection of colourful artwork.

As you ascend the stairs to the gallery, you’ll find walls adorned with a diverse array of art, with new pieces constantly rotating to ensure a fresh experience with every visit.

2)Size: smallest A3  largest A1

3)Medium: Artwork can be created in any medium of your choice.

4)Concept: Locality and community.

5)Artwork must be ready for hanging, whether in a frame or with wire at the back of a canvas.

6)Photos: send photos of your artwork

50% of sales will result in a normal gallery Commission of 50%

Be Available for the initial opening event on 23rd September

Artwork selected to be dropped off at the Gallery on  22nd September from 9:30 am – 12 pm

Any work not sold is to be collected on the 20th of October 6 pm – 8 pm
