Community is built on the love and respect that people have for each other. My two simple designs reflect this and the diversity within.
Artist Bio
Barney is an illustrator and graphic artist based in Manchester with over 20 years’ experience.
After an initial period as a graphic designer, Barney became a freelance illustrator in 2009. Over the years Barney has created distinctive illustrations for companies and organisations in the UK and internationally.
His elaborate, eye-catching style has led to commissions for companies such as Lacoste, Joseph Holt, Carlsberg and Live Nation, resulting in prominent artworks such as illustrated beer glasses and large-scale murals.
Other projects include album, book and publication covers, window vinyls, stained glass, temporary tattoos, editorial illustrations, and even a manhole cover.
Barney loves to work with detail and likes to engage the viewer through the use of playful imagery and vivid colours, and is inspired by architecture, technology, science and history.
