PROJECT HAPPY BARON QUAYS

I was hired by Cunning Planning to collaborate with Baron Quays, a retail leisure centre in Northwich, for a project called “Project Happy.” The objective was to create uplifting and energizing art that would bring smiles to the community of Northwich. “Project Happy” was a year-long initiative that involved creating colourful and engaging murals around Cheshire to boost morale. These murals were displayed in Barons Quay and the town centre.

Under “Project Happy,” I illustrated all the shop windows in Barron Keys with uplifting doodles that engaged with teams and the public. I also created a food bank mural to raise awareness of the available support and encourage people to donate. Additionally, I created a mural for Remembrance Day, as well as a colourful and positive large interactive mural that was 15ft by 32ft and inspired by the local area. I designed and installed an optimistic walkway mural that was 10ft by 42ft and included uplifting slogans to raise energy.

Under “Project Merry,” I organized an online creative workshop where participants submitted their work, and I created an art installation.

Art is a powerful way to create happiness, relieve stress, and encourage positive engagement in retail stores or offices. If you have a dull space, let me help you create an inspiring piece of art.
